"what_to_expect": "<div>This half-day tour through Santo packs in culture, history, and some of the island's most beautiful natural spots, all in one well-paced outing from Luganville.<br><br></div><div>Your first stop is Leweton Cultural Village, where the outer northern islands come alive right before your eyes. You'll settle in under traditionally thatched roofs as your hosts, dressed in vibrant traditional costume, welcome you with dancing, singing, and a genuine kava ceremony, freshly squeezed and ready to taste. The famous water music performed by ladies from the Banks Islands is something you genuinely have to see to believe. Add in a fire-making demonstration and the chance to taste fire-cooked roasted banana, and it's a vivid, hands-on introduction to island culture.<br><br></div><div>From there, the day heads to Million Dollar Point, one of Santo's most fascinating and unusual sites. In 1945, rather than sell surplus military equipment to French colonial authorities for next to nothing, the Americans spent two days dumping it all into the sea, trucks, bulldozers, jeeps, tractors, and even Coca-Cola bottles. Today, that underwater military graveyard sits just metres from shore. Strap on the included snorkelling gear and swim out over old wheels and bulldozers scattered across the ocean floor, with the remains of the dynamited concrete wharf as your launch point. It's history you can swim through.<br><br></div><div>Next up is Nanda Blue Hole, where the colour of the water has to be seen to be believed. Jump from the platforms, take the steps in gently, or simply sit on the decks and take in the jungle surroundings. Tropical fish dart around the limestone formations, making it a great spot to keep your snorkelling gear handy.<br><br></div><div>The final stretch of the day takes you to Port Olry, reached along a scenic coconut tree-lined road that sets the mood perfectly. Chez Louis' Restaurant sits right on the beach, and you'll want to get your lunch order in early so you can make the most of the turquoise lagoon while you wait. Watch traditional dugout canoes drift across the water as local fishermen head in with their catch, and keep an eye out for turtles or even a dugong if you're in the right spot. The occasional cattle wandering in for shade under the banyan trees rounds things out in the most laid-back, Santo kind of way.<br><br></div><div>Return transfers from Luganville, snorkelling gear and four beers plus two colas are all included to keep the day easy and relaxed from start to finish. Lunch at Port Olry is at your own expense.</div>",

"faq": "<div><strong>What's included in the Island Escape & Blue Wonders tour with Santo Firewalks and Cultural Tours?</strong></div><div>Your tour includes return transport from Luganville, snorkelling gear, a kava ceremony, cultural performances at Lewaton Village, free refreshments, and four beers and two colas. Lunch at Port Olry is at your own expense.<br><br></div><div><strong>Do I need any experience to snorkel at Million Dollar Point or Nanda Blue Hole?</strong></div><div>No experience is needed. Both sites are beginner-friendly, with calm, shallow entry points and gear provided. The underwater military relics at Million Dollar Point are visible just metres from shore.<br><br></div><div><strong>What is the water music experience at Lewaton Cultural Village?</strong></div><div>Ladies from the Banks Islands perform traditional water music by striking the water's surface to create rhythmic sounds. You'll also watch dancing, see a fire-making demonstration, taste fire-cooked food, and share in a kava ceremony.<br><br></div><div><strong>Can I swim at Port Olry, and is there anything to look out for?</strong></div><div>Absolutely. The lagoon is calm and ideal for a swim. Keep an eye out for turtles and dugongs, and watch local fishermen return in traditional dugout canoes. It's a genuinely lovely spot to unwind.<br><br></div><div><strong>How far are the tour stops from Luganville?</strong></div><div>Million Dollar Point is just a five-minute drive from Luganville, while Port Olry is around 45 minutes to 1 hour from Luganville. All stops are accessible by road, and your Santo Firewalks and Cultural Tours vehicle handles all transport throughout the day.</div>",
