It runs for around three hours, starting at 9am, and takes you to four very different stops across the city.<br><br></div><div>You'll kick things off at the Aelan Chocolate Factory, where a 30-minute guided walk takes you along boardwalks through tropical gardens and into a series of shipping container stations, each dedicated to a different stage of chocolate production. From raw Vanuatu-grown cacao beans right through to finished bars, you get to see every step of the process. The tour wraps up with a tasting session featuring award-winning chocolates made with local ingredients including coconut, chilli pepper, nangai, ginger, turmeric, kava, coffee and sea salt.<br><br></div><div>Next up is 83 Islands Distillery, where you'll spend around an hour going behind the scenes of their rum operation. The distillery works with 50 local farmers across Vanuatu's islands and still does most of its bottling and labelling by hand. You'll see sugarcane being crushed, learn about their fermentation and distillation process, and explore the ageing barrels where samples are drawn using traditional drilling methods. Tastings of their signature rums round it out nicely.<br><br></div><div>From there, the tour heads to Tanna Coffee, a roastery housed in a historic Port Vila building. The tour itself is free, and you'll get a look at how coffee grown on Tanna Island is processed and roasted on site. Afterwards, the small café on site is the place to sit down and enjoy a barista coffee or a slice of cake at your own cost.<br><br></div><div>The final stop gives you two very different shopping experiences side by side. Fung Kuei is Port Vila's largest duty-free shop, stocking everything from Rolex and Lego to local products like 83 Islands rum and Vanuatu chocolates, along with an extensive liquor range. Just along the waterfront, Mama's Market is entirely Ni-Van in character, selling locally made woven bags, carvings, jewellery and more.<br><br></div><div>A light lunch is included in the tour.
