About This Experience
Standing at the edge of one of the world's most accessible active volcanoes is something you won't forget. Mt Yasur on Tanna Island has been erupting almost continuously since Captain Cook recorded it in 1774, and today you can walk right up to the rim and watch it roar. Five active vents putting on a show of glowing lava and billowing ash clouds just metres away.
