What to Expect
From the moment you arrive, Lowinio draws you into the rhythm of everyday kastom life. Your guide leads you through the gardens, the children play traditional games, a food demo showcases whatever the village is cooking that day (usually laplap), and kastom dancing unfolds beneath a banyan tree with everyone welcome to join in. In the background, you may see or hear other traditions taking place, depending on what is happening in the village that day; a reminder that this is a living village, not a performance.
